North Carolina Pre-Season Team Rankings

Below are the Coaches Pre-Season Team Rankings. I emailed each coach across the state and asked them to submit their top 6 dual teams and their top 6 tournament teams (for their school’s classification). Teams were awarded points as follows:

  • 1st = 11

  • 2nd = 9

  • 3rd = 7

  • 4th = 5

  • 5th = 3

  • 6th = 1

The current plan is to solicit coaches feedback 4 times this season for the dual rankings and 5 times during the season for tournament rankings. Coaches - if you did not receive an email from me - please let me know. On occasion - school system emails do not allow “batched” emails to come through because it is interpreted as spam. I simply need to know if you are not receiving the email so I can send it to you individually. Also … It does not need to be you who fills out the form (it can be someone on your staff).

The next email you will receive from SEWrestle will be related to submitting a name for the hammer of the week once the season begins. You can look for another rankings email on or around Nov 27th.
