Luke Cordier and Nery Resendiz-Garcia each won matches at last year’s 2A East Region Tournament and both will be called on to lead a young squad into 2023-2024. Cordier and Resendiz-Garcia are both seniors and both have post-season experience which will be important with the new faces stepping into the lineup. Darius Jarvis also qualified for the 2A East Region tournament in 2023 and Killian Elson returns as well … but make no mistake - this team will mostly be made-up of new faces. Keep an eye on freshmen Kelson Daniels (106), Sage Garner (138/144), Corbett Davis (165/175), and Sylas Wells (175) as well as sophomore Carson Sikes (120) and junior Leonard Rigsbee. This team might having some growing pains this year, but look for Cordier, Resendiz-Garcia, and Jarvis to punch their ticket to the big dance in 2024. - SEWrestle
