There is a lot to like about this year’s edition of Coffee Central. All three 2023 State Qualifiers return. Jacob Barlow and Blayne Myers both made the podium as Juniors and are back to make a run at the top step in 2024. Ian Walker qualified a year ago as a sophomore and will look to climb onto the podium in 2024 as well. With 3 placers … Coffee County should be pushing for a spot in the top 10. The key to whether that happens or not will be the continued development of the rest of the squad. This is a group with a lot of upperclassmen, but not a ton of post-season experience. For Coffee to take that next step as a team they will need the junior class to make some noise with Green, Centeno, Miller, and Warrick. Coffee will almost certainly match their 3 qualifiers from a year ago … whether they add any others we will just have to wait and see. - SEWrestle
