Bob Jones has another stacked lineup … they just happen to reside in 7A North - the deepest and most talented section in the state. Still the Patriots have an outstanding lineup that has an excellent mix of seniors, juniors, sophomores, etc. That mix is one of the primary reasons they are, year in and year out, in the hunt for a title. Four State Placers return including Kaden Clark who made the podium as a 7th grader at 106. Clark has a ton of talent and will pair with senior Colton West to lockdown the bottom part of the Patriot lineup. Zander Samargia was 5th at 113 in 2023 and will likely compete at 120 or 126 and Jack Shaver is a returning qualifier at 126 (who should be somewhere between 132 and 144) … meaning the bottom of the Bob Jones lineup is solid. The top is equally talented with returning State Placers Ben Crouse and Tafari Alcime as well as state qualifier Sheldon Sharp. The key to the Patriots success probably lies in the middle of the lineup (from 138-165). Carter Lindsey, Liam Fuller, Jackson Caballero, Jackson Aquino, and Will Zerangue will play an important roles in determining how high the Patriots climb in 2024. Bob Jones will be in the hunt … whether they are leading the pack or not is the big question.- SEWrestle
