The Wolfpack is one of the best programs in Georgia and probably amongst the top 10-15 in the Southeast (we will see once the SE Top 25 gets released in a another few weeks). They lose Jayde Massa and Lyric Drumgoole, but this squad is tough and returns a ton of talent … enough to be in the conversation for winning a state title. They lost to eventual runner-up Jordan in the duals a year ago and battled back for 3rd and finished 5th at the traditional state tournament. With nearly everyone back and a senior heavy group … this team is looking to end 2024 on the top step. Seniors Arieana Bacon, Jordan Epstein, and Phoebe Melvin have all been on the podium, but have yet to claim the top step. All three have a shot to do it both individually and as a team. For the team to get it done, the senior trio the rest of the squad must wrestle to their potential … Ryan Lewis, Kaylynn Hottenrott, and Esperanza Huitron have all been to the big dance … getting them onto the podium would be huge for Greenbrier in the team race. The wolfpack also have several others with a lot of experience that will look to punch their ticket … they include Liz Martinez, Mya Pilger, and others. Keep an eye on freshmen Mia Kimball and Kynsley Buckland … both will look to make some noise in 2024 as well. - SEWrestle
