There is a lot to like about the Knights squad. Coach Melzoni loses the Sinner hammers, but return 5 qualifiers including State Runner-up Tre McTorry. This is a very experienced group with McTorry, Hardoin, and Pattee as seniors and Mayes and Sentel as juniors. Hardoin, Mayes, and Sentel all won matches at the state tournament and will look to take that next step and climb onto the podium in 2024. Barton qualified as a freshman and will be hunting a spot on the podium this year as well … especially if he is back at 106. Keep an eye on senior Brennen Neal towards the top of the lineup as well as a quartet of underclassmen ... Brodie Melzoni and Cruz Pryor are both sophomores to watch and Trapper Lippincott and Jake Santel are freshman that should be on your radar this season. - SEWrestle
