Jasper has a few pieces to replace … look to Austin Parker(10th) 120/126, Neal Pendley(9th) 144/150 and Tyson Phillips (12th) 175 to step in and help the Vikings defend their 2023 state titles.
SEWrestle NOTE: Few teams in Alabama had a better season than the Vikings did in 2023. Can they replicate that success in 2024? The core is there for them to do it again … six returning qualifiers including 4 placers and State Champion Cole Carter. They will need a few new faces to step in and replace the points lost by the graduation of Caldwell, Burnam, and Langley. David Baradell and Cooper Brooks will play an important role if Jasper is going to defend their title. Keep an eye on Austin Parker, Neal Pendley, and Tyson Phillips … each will look to plug themselves into the lineup and provide an important piece to the Viking lineup.
