What is “State of the Program”?

Each season I provide a link to coaches in each of the seven states asking for feedback on their teams as we head into the new season. The purpose of each post is to highlight the program as a whole as well as all of the individuals contributing to the success of the program. Coaches - if you haven’t received an email please reach out and we will send you a link to the form.

Each program that has completed the form is included below (and that list will grow as we continue to receive more submissions). Coach - please give me a few days to update this list as necessary (but if after a week you do not see your program below please reach out).

The Basics:

Lucas DeSilva and I take last year’s information, as well as information from the coach to provide a “snapshot” of what we might expect to see during the 2023-24 season. The quotes are the coaches - the write-up is done by SEWrestle or Lucas DeSilva (Fat and Scrappy) and all mentions of State Championships, Placings, etc. is based on the 2022-23 season only (I don’t have the time go back over multiple seasons). Once the team name has an “active link” the team’s State of the Program post has been posted in the blog section of the website. If there is no link - it has not be posted as yet. The team’s are listed below their state in alphabetical order (not in order they have or will be posted).

Boys vs. Girls

Several program put both of their programs together for a single post - others chose to separate them. Girls only state of the program are italicized. If the school is not italicized it is either just the boys or both combined.

Schools Highlighted (or to be highlighted) … if the link is active - the state of the program has been posted … if not then it will be posted in the future.
